Strawberry Banana Smoothie Bowl

A thick and refreshing strawberry banana smoothie bowl topped with fresh fruit, almonds, and chia seeds. It delivers plenty of fruit, fiber, healthy fats, and protein from Greek yogurt for a colorful and satisfying breakfast.
Ingredients
- 2 cups frozen strawberries
- 1 frozen banana, sliced
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 teaspoon honey, optional
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 fresh banana, sliced, for topping
- 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, sliced, for topping
- 2 tablespoons sliced almonds
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
Instructions
- Add the frozen strawberries, frozen banana, Greek yogurt, almond milk, honey, and vanilla to a blender.
- Blend until thick and smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed.
- Add almond milk 1 tablespoon at a time if needed to help the mixture blend, keeping it thick enough to eat with a spoon.
- Divide the smoothie mixture between two bowls.
- Top with the sliced banana, fresh strawberries, almonds, and chia seeds.
- Serve immediately.
Notes & Tips
- Use frozen fruit for the thickest smoothie bowl. Fresh fruit will produce a much thinner consistency.
- Start with only 1/2 cup almond milk and add more only if necessary.
- For extra protein, add additional Greek yogurt or a scoop of your favorite protein powder.
- Blueberries, raspberries, chopped walnuts, or unsweetened coconut make great additional toppings.
